ANNIVERSARY HEALING SERVICE  - 47 YEARS.

On Wednesday 26th September there was a lot to celebrate at the Healing Service which marked the 47th Anniversary.    The theme was thanksgiving and everyone expressed their thanks to God throughout the Service with praise and worship, testimonies, sermon and during fellowship time.   Chris Moroney preached on thanksgiving with scriptures from Psalm 118 and Luke 17:11-18.

Jim McKay and Jeba Asirjason gave their testimonies of the healing love of God for their situations.   Their testimonies can be seen on the testimonies page.
We thank and praise God for His healing love and the way He continues to bless the Healing Service and bring new people along each week.   May we continue with thanksgiving during the healing services for many years ahead.

Tom Halls
in the Cathedral

Tom thanks all who prayed for ministry in Singapore, India and Malaysia in August / September.  He teaches Expository Preaching at the missionary training college of Indian Evangelical Mission [IEM] every year and has been asked to go to India twice in 2008.  Preaching seminars in Bangalore were very well attended and a highlight was to have three preachers testify to the worth of systematic Bible teaching; a practice about which they were convinced in Tom's seminars years ago in other Indian cities.

He is preparing to give the Bible Studies at a World Missions Conference in Lae, Papua New Guinea and asks for prayer support as he travels and teaches 27 November to 4 December 2007.  He is also preparing for ministry in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore in February / March 2008.  Apart from being preacher-at-large, he delights in the privilege of being involved in the Cathedral ministries.
